Telluride, Colorado is finding itself on the top of everyone’s list. With a jaw-dropping setting of a box canyon surrounded by 12,000, 13,000 and 14,000 foot peaks and a friendly laid back vibe it’s easy to discern why Telluride is the cream of the crop.

Not to mention the incredible skiing. It’s a bit farther flung than most places and with the effort to get here comes the reward of no lift lines. Telluride offers terrain for everyone; beginners runs that go for almost a mile, rolling pine groves of Prospect Basin or the steeps of Gold Hill.

When taking a break from the skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ice-skating wander down historic main street and shop locally. From chic boutiques to Timberline Ace Hardware Store (a perenial favorite of local’s and visitors alike). Dine out for breakfast, lunch or dinner at any of the well established eateries.
