Mountain Film

Do what you can with what you have, where you are.- I Am, the movie.

Mountain Film in Telluride is by far my favorite gathering of the tribe. The general like-mindedness and passionate qualities of the people in attendance really allow for the incubation and implementation of thoughts that become actions.
One word continually heard/spoken is; inspiring
in.spire (verb)
1.fill (someone) with the urge or ability to do or feel something, especially to do something creative
– create (a feeling, especially a positive one) in a person
– inspire someone with (animate someone with such a feeling)
– give rise to
2. breathe in (air); inhale

With emphasis on environmental, social, political, cultural, athletic endeavors (climbing, skiing, alpinism, boating, surfing, etc.) and personal journey’s of exploration and altruism Mountain Film Festival delves into and shares with us what matters.
How does plastic affect you and our planet? Congratulations to Bag It and crew who won the Audience Choice Award at Mountain Film 2010.
Could you live more simply=happily?
How do you get out and enjoy Mother Nature?,
What does the boom in Natural Gas mean? Lack of dependence on foreign oil or depletion of wild and scenic places and severe impact on a basic life-force; water.

This weekend provides a time to see old friends and meet new friends. Which is a necessary catharsis given the sheer volume of heavy thinking this gathering generates.

When one tugs at a single thing in nature, he finds it attached to the rest of the world.
